Satinder Sartaaj 2016

I have seen several performances at St George’s Hall such as Alaap and Apna Sangeet. The one that stands out for me is Satinder Sartaaj. His performance was something different from Bollywood and bhangra.

He was sat down on cushions and the stage set was unique and very lovely. He sang songs which were story-telling and were very meaningful. He told a little story before each song. It was a very calming concert, very relaxed and peaceful.

It was good to visit a family show and find lots of friends there. People were wearing traditional clothes. It was very enjoyable and relaxed.
